International partners

Help the Vulnerable in Africa (HEVA), a German NGO, has been one of Tateni's oldest and most reliable partners for more than 10 years.  HEVA provides support when funds from the South African government are reduced due to financial crises or other unpredictable circumstances.  This enables Tateni to continue working despite critical financial situations.

Stephen Lewis Foundation

Stephen Lewis Foundation, a Canadian charity organization focused on fighting HIV/AIDS, has been funding Tateni for more than seven years, and is one of our most reliable partners. The Foundation supports Tateni's administrative work by sponsoring the salaries of staff that the organization would otherwise not be able to pay.

The United States President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) is the USA government initiative to help save the lives of those suffering from HIV/AIDS around the world. The Ambassador's Grant, which Tateni received in 2013 as a once-off payment, helped the organization to offer HIV/AIDS prevention education and awareness to the community of Mamelodi.

The South African German Network (SAGE Net) stands for the exchange between South Africa and Germany. Every year they send two German volunteers to Tateni to gain experience in the field of social work and to promote intercultural exchange.
